Open European Mahjong Championship
The first Open European Mahjong Championship, held in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, June 2005, sparked a new interest in mahjong in Europe.
The second OEMC took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2007.
This year the third OEMC will take place in Austria.
European Riichi Mahjong Championship
The first European Riichi Mahjong Championship, took place in Hannover, Germany in 2008.
World Mahjong Championship
The first World Mahjong Championship, was held in Chengdu, China, in 2007.
The second WMC will be in the Netherlands in 2010.
