The winner of two first prize cups (one to keep and one to pass on next year) was Lars Nikolajsen who may now be able to get rid of the nick name 'cry baby' acquired when he lost last years final.

Okay, let's get someone else to operate the camera. Tina Christensen won the quiz with questions such as: who will win this year?, how will last year's champion be ranked?, how many yakumans will we see today? etc.



Two Dutchmen travelled all the way to Aarhus to participate. They both got a Mahjong Danmark t-shirts as a souvenir. Far left: President of Mahjong Danmark, Anders Labich, in the middle Hans van der Poel and on the right Harry Kal.



They might not have had much luck in the tournament, but they still look happy.
