Martin Rep made Seven Shifted Pairs and scored 90 point: 88 for Seven Shifted Pairs and 2 for All Simples.


Marianne Croeze had a hand of All Terminals and Honours and the best round of the day with 259 points. This hand scores 44 points: 32 for All Terminals and Honours, 4 for Two Melded Kongs, 2 for Prevalent Wind, 2 for Dragon Pung, 1 for One Voided Suit, 1 for Single Wait, 1 for Self-drawn and 1 for a flower tile. Points for Pung of Terminals of Honours and All Pungs are implied.

The winners

Martin Rep claimed the first place and received a one pint beer mug with his title engraved "Danmarksmester 2004 International Mahjong" and one quality beer: a Carlsberg Semper Ardens Winter Rye


Lars Nikolajsen made an astonishing effort in the last round and claimed the second prize: a game of boules.


Freddy Christiansen had been fighting hard against Martin Rep all day and won the third prize: the card game Bang!
